AST Provide Neutron Detection Screens to Complete ISIS NIMROD Instrument

Applied Scintillation Technologies (AST) has received a 12m² order for neutron screens from Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL) to complete the NIMROD instrument at the ISIS Target Station 2 (TS2). AST has established itself as the premier supplier of phosphor and scintillation technologies having supplied neutron detection products to RAL and Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL).
