Applied Scintillation Technologies is delighted to announce its new role as a sponsor of the Children’s Safety Education Foundation.
As a Harlow based company Applied Scintillation Technologies believe it is important to contribute to the local community in which many of their employees live as well as work. Consequently AST are sponsoring children between the ages of 11 and 14 at local Harlow high school, Passmores School & Technology College. The children will receive educational material entitled ‘Respect Your Life Your Choice’ which details the facts about certain prevalent issues including drug misuse and anti-social behavior. AST believe that the material distributed by CSEF is a great educational resource for young children to better enable them to make the right choices in their lives and promote community responsibility.
AST Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Glenn Tyrrell commented saying that: “AST is extremely pleased to be partnering the Children’s Safety Education Foundation which is a worthwhile cause. The information provided is an invaluable resource and the message it promotes is one of community responsibility and respect.” He continued on to say that “AST hope that our small contribution can help to protect and educate the local children and ultimately benefit the community.”
